A Royal Visitor

We know how lovely the area is around Joiner’s Mews and it seems a royal visitor also loves south Cumbria.
Sophie, Countess of Wessex is returning for another visit here next month.

Her Royal Highness is president of Westmorland County Agricultural Society – and was at our County Show last September. She’s coming back to visit the society’s hugely popular annual sileage competition at its HQ, 10 minutes from Joiner’s Mews.

While she’s in the area she’ll be calling in at Bendrigg Trust, a charity which provides people who have disabilities with outdoor experiences and at the well known coffee and tea merchants, John Farrer and Co, which is 200 years old this year.

Follow the Countess’s lead with a visit to Cumbria and stay at Joiner’s Mews.
