Fell Foot, Windermere
This national trust property on the southern shore of Windermere is a real favourite of ours – hardly a week goes past without a visit, usually in the early morning to take Bunty (our Westie) for a walk.
There is still plenty to do, there is a shop and a café for a light bite.
