About Our Cosy Dog Friendly Holiday Cottage nr Kendal, in the Lake District

Built in 2012, Joiner’s Mews is a lovely comfortable holiday cottage for three guests, in a double or twin room and one single, all on one floor. Well behaved dogs are welcome, the area surrounding the cottage is secure – once the gates are closed – so your canine friend will be safe. To help you have an enjoyable Lake District holiday, we provide all you will need to ensure your stay is as memorable as possible. The holiday cottage has unlimited Wi-Fi provided throughout the accommodation. The combined sitting and dining room has a log burner for cosy evenings in, watching a film or DVD on the 39-inch Smart TV.   The kitchen has a breakfast bar seating area for three people. There is an electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. You’ll find all the pans, crockery and equipment you need if you wish to cater for yourselves. We don’t believe that our guests should have to shop for dishwasher or washing machine tablets while on holiday so we will provide enough of both for your stay.   The cottage is located a two-minute walk from the Heversham Hotel, which we can recommend for a reasonably priced pint and a good bar meal. The village of Milnthorpe, just five minutes away by car, has a Booths store (known as the Waitrose of the north), a Spar and petrol station, fruit and veg shop, newsagents, independent butchers, chemist, post office, vet, two pubs, numerous takeaways and a day time and evening restaurant. Every Friday there is a small market in the village square.
